Noel Kern
Noel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Minnesota Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Community Psychology (2011) and her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy (2014) from St. Cloud State University. She is trained to provide services for clients from birth through the lifespan, although her current focus is with teens and adults of all ages.
Noel has a special interest in working with Anxiety Disorders and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders (OCD). Her specialties include Anxiety Disorders (generalized anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobias, panic disorders), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Depression, ADHD, relationship and marital issues, parenting support and family dynamics, LGBTQ+ affirming care, sexual abuse recovery, sex-specific therapy for legally involved individuals, trauma healing, and urge and anger management. She bases her therapeutic approach on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Family Systems, Polyvagal Theory, and Attachment-based methods.

I am passionate about helping people live their best lives. I believe therapy should be a collaborative journey where clients feel empowered to explore their inner world, gain clarity, and take meaningful steps toward change.
What do you like to do when you're not a therapist?
I enjoy cooking and have a new love for perfecting sourdough. When I am not cooking or baking, I enjoy traveling. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, recharging through connection and community.
