What do you like to do when you're not a therapist?
I enjoy spending time with family, friends, reading a good book, and watching sports (kids to professional).
What are three words your loved ones would use to describe you?
Nonjudgmental, pleasant, and loyal
What part of you do you bring into therapy?
I believe that who I am shows up in the therapy room. My life experiences and cultural perspectives shape the way I connect with clients and understand their individual experiences. I bring authenticity, warmth, and curiosity into sessions, striving to create a space where clients feel heard and accepted for who they are.
What was your inspiration to become a therapist?
I've worked in co-occurring residential chemical dependency treatment for 18 years. I've always been curious to learn more about how mental health affects our relationships and behaviors. How have your experiences made you into who you are today?
What are you trying to grow into?
I'm growing into a therapist who has a passion for helping others achieve their goals while also addressing the barriers to getting there. I am focusing on deepening my self-awareness, clinical skills, and ability to help clients grow.
What is a quote that resonates with you?
